5 Years

It’s been 5 years (and a couple of days) since April 9, 2005. Jon said “I do” before our priest celebrant could finish the entire question. Monsi Matt jokingly commented, “Jon, hot na hot ka ha?”

Jon planned for us to celebrate this year’s anniversary at Balai Isabel. He scouted the place from photos available on the Internet. He knew the roads were smooth and that I didn’t have to walk a lot going to and from each interesting place in the resort.

I still have limited privileges because of some pregnancy-related concerns and need to take extra care with my movements.

I thought - maybe I could at least bring my cam (but forgot a tripod…sigh) and take some shots from our room veranda. Shots such as these…

To the man who has loved me with the same warmth since our wedding day, whose jokes never fail to give me joy, whose faith in God has inspired me to persevere in my own journey to heaven, happy anniversary! I love you :)
